Like so many local residents, Judith first fell under the Tahoe spell in 1976 as a vacation destination and today it is her permanent home and place of business. “Only the most fortunate people in the world are able to combine their experience and education to live their dreams. But, that is exactly what I get to do everyday.” Prior to living in Tahoe, she was involved in buying real estate for remodeling and investment. Building on her MBA credentials, Judith additionally developed skills in negotiating and financial contract development – all of which have enabled her to provide the best possible business acumen in assisting her clients with their real estate requirements. Judith and her husband, Lee, own a custom cabinet and built-ins business, Custom Design Woodworks. “These contacts prove valuable in finding real estate opportunities in their early stages of remodel or development, before they hit the MLS.” When she’s not on the real estate scene, it’s highly likely Judith is golfing in the summer, or skiing and snowshoeing in the winter. She and her husband enjoy the mountain activities and Martha, their yellow lab is just a “dog's wag away from joining us on the trails”. In addition to Martha, the Hanson’s have three grown children.
