Craig Cooper is a licensed Realtor in the State of California. He has been a commercial real estate investor and business owner in Lake Tahoe for over 14 years. He has purchased and sold primary, luxury, and vacation homes and commercial investment properties in California, Colorado, Washington, and Hawaii.
He received his education at the University of Colorado, Boulder, in Business Administration and Chemical Engineering. While in college, Craig worked in restaurants. Eventually, as the chef/owner of a famous San Francisco restaurant, Craig created and developed his own restaurant franchise concept. Craig became a registered Franchisor in the state of California, also recognized in forty other states. He marketed and sold his own Restaurant Franchise concept, (Olive's Gourmet Pizza) in California, Colorado, Louisiana and Texas. Today, Craig's cornmeal crust pizza is sold in Trader Joe's Markets around the country, as well as other gourmet specialty shops.
Previously, Craig owned and operated the well known Black Bear Tavern, an 'Old Tahoe' style restaurant specializing in Wild Game and Seafood. This historic West Shore lodge was constructed in 1933 and known for over 50 years as 'The Forest Inn'. Built with pine log ceilings, granite stone fireplaces, and located on a rushing section of Ward Creek, this dramatic old lodge is currently being remodeled and converted into his own family residence. Craig enjoys the outdoor life style living in Lake Tahoe and is recognized for his interest in raising and racing his well known Irish Wolfhounds. |
