Resourceful and enthusiastic, Val Dearborn brings nearly 40 years of experience as a public art educator to her career in real estate. Throughout her teaching career, she inspired students of all ages, led community art shows, created public murals, and mentored fellow educators. Her passion for helping people discover a place where they belong now guides her approach to real estate.

A native of San Diego, Val has lived in the Tahoe region for more than 20 years and currently resides in Zephyr Cove, Nevada. She holds a B.A. in Visual Arts from UC San Diego and an M.A. in Humanities from CSU Dominguez Hills. Beyond education, Val is also a commercial pilot, a former certified flight instructor, and long-time community volunteer with organizations including Civil Air Patrol, Dress a Girl Around the World, and the Tahoe Choir.

When she’s not helping clients, Val enjoys hiking, swimming, reading, and singing. She believes the true reward of real estate is not only finding the right home but also building lasting friendships along the way.
