Incline Village, NV Real Estate & Homes

Welcome to Incline Village, Nevada, a charming college town situated on the north shore of Lake Tahoe. The nearly 9,000 residents who call the village home enjoy four distinct seasons, with comfortable summers in the mid-70s and winter lows in the 20s. Incline Village was named for its steep slope that was once the site of the incline railway, used to transport timber up to the mines of the Comstock Lode during the late 1800s. The area’s natural beauty has attracted notable names over the town’s history. Frank Sinatra owned a casino here in the 1950s. In the 1980s, billionaire Warren Buffet owned a home here. Mike Love of The Beach Boys and Aaron Rodgers of the Green Bay Packers also once called Incline Village home. People have sometimes used Incline Village as a tax haven to avoid paying higher taxes in neighboring California.
