Reno is a city in, and is the county seat of, Washoe County, Nevada, United States.
The city has a population of 217,091 (approx) and is the fourth most populous city in Nevada. Reno sits in a high desert valley at the foot of the Sierras and is the international headquarters for many comapanies including IGT, most associate Reno as the smaller version of Las Vegas however the cities have many differences as well as similarities. Reno shares it's border with neighboring Sparks, a city with approximatley 90,000. Most call the metro area the "Truckee Meadows" and it has a population of about 310,000
Reno, known as "The Biggest Little City in the World", is famous for its casinos, and is the birthplace of the gaming corporation Harrah's Entertainment.
